Nascency vs. IVF Clinic Roles, Explained
Who Does What and When?
Surrogacy takes teamwork. While it may sometimes feel like everyone’s emailing you at once, the truth is Nascency and your clinic work together to support you, just in different ways.
🏥 IVF Clinics: The Medical Experts
Your fertility clinic is all about science and safety. They’re the ones who:
- Run medical screenings & lab work
- Prescribe medications (and explain how/when to take them)
- Perform the embryo transfer
- Monitor your early pregnancy with ultrasounds and bloodwork
Basically, they make sure everything on the medical side is safe, effective, and moving forward.
Usually they’ll communicate by email and phone calls. Be prepared to be available, sometimes on-call during your embryo transfer cycle. Flexibility during this phase is super important. Make sure you have a plan for taking time off work and childcare needs while you attend monitoring appointments.
🤝 Nascency: Your Support + Coordination Team

- Matching you with intended parents 👩👩👦

💡 Why Knowing the Difference Matters
When you understand who handles what, you’ll know where to turn:
- Medical questions → IVF Clinic
- Emotional or logistical support → Nascency
This clarity makes the whole process smoother and lets you focus on the part only you can do: growing a healthy pregnancy for your intended parents and taking great care of yourself and your family in the process . 💕
