Carly Stockdale, MPH

Carly began her career in public health in 2009 at Massachusetts General, working on patient experience and operational improvement. She moved into women’s health and fertility in 2013 as the first operating employee and VP at Prelude Fertility, where she helped grow the organization from a single clinic to a national network of 24, leading Commercial Operations across the the clinics and MyEggBank. During those years, Carly saw a gap she couldn’t ignore: fertility clinics upheld exceptionally high medical and ethical standards, while surrogacy agencies often did not. Intended families were left confused, surrogates lacked support, and the overall experience felt fragmented. She knew surrogacy could — and should — feel safer, clearer, and far more human for everyone involved. After leaving Prelude, Carly co-founded and led a 20-clinic women’s health and longevity network. It was during that time that she and her husband Tom completed their own family through surrogacy. The relationship built with their surrogate — the trust, care, and shared purpose — became the blueprint for what Nascency exists to deliver today. Carly serves on the Standards Committee for SEEDS, the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy, is a Trustee for the San Diego Volunteers in Medicine, and sits on the Yale Healthcare Case Competition Board of Advisors. She holds a B.A. in Health Policy and Politics and an MPH in Healthcare Management from Yale University.

Dr Arij Faksh, DO, MFM

Arij Faksh has been a practicing Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist since 2015 when she completed her fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. She has cared for hundreds of gestational carriers and personally delivered over fifty surrogate babies. She loves MFM and perinatology such an interesting blend of internal medicine, obstetrics, intensive critical care, radiology, and neonatology. Dr Faksh is also a parent through surrogacy herself. Dr Faksh is incredibly passionate about bringing health equity, educating gestational carriers on their pregnancy, as well as offering high quality women's health clinical trials.

Kylee Warren, MPH

Kylee is proud to always strive to bring 100% to the work that she does, and her goal is to make complex, emotional and challenging situations easier for all. In total, she’s helped over 500 families find their surrogate. Kylee worked for seven years directing patient care for third party reproduction at Oregon Reproductive Medicine, one of the top fertility clinics in the country, and over the past four years she led concierge services for a large surrogacy program.  She works in depth with both intended parents and surrogates as they find their match and prepare for the journey ahead. Kylee holds a B.S. in Pre-Nursing and a MPH in Leadership from University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

Sherri Uhlig, MA

Sherri’s passion for surrogacy grew alongside her passion for the field of psychology. She always wanted to be a surrogate and - after completing her own family of four with her husband of 20+ years - she was thrilled to bring three surrobabies into the world on two separate journeys. Sherri is a school psychologist, assessing different students with potential learning disabilities. She is thrilled to help with spreading awareness of surrogacy and talking with surrogates and IPs regarding their journeys.

Kelli Maple

Kelli comes to Nascency with an extensive background in education and surrogacy journey management. She received her B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University and began working as a teacher and administrator in early childhood education. After completing her own family, she became a gestational carrier in the early 2010s, which inspired her to pursue a career in this field. With nearly a decade of experience, Kelli has served in both agency and fertility clinic coordination roles, personally managing and supporting well over 100 journeys for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors. She has guided individuals and families through every phase of the third-party reproduction process—from initial matching and medical coordination to delivery and post-birth care. With a unique blend of personal insight and professional experience, Kelli is exceptionally equipped to support you throughout your journey.

Ash Saverino CPD, CBE, LEC

Ash is an experienced surrogate with 15 years in the reproductive and perinatal field, specializing in LGBTQ+ family building. With 2 years of professional experience in the surrogacy space, Ash brings both personal insight and professional knowledge to every journey she supports. Ash is also a doula, childbirth educator, lactation educator counselor, and surrogacy doula training facilitator. As a dedicated surrogate advocate, Ash helps potential surrogates gain a deeper understanding of the process. She also offers individualized support to both families involved and strives to be a steady presence and resource during one of the journey’s most anticipated milestones— preparation for birth.

Nicole Marie Cowles

Nicole is a four-time surrogate who is incredibly passionate about surrogacy and the experience for surrogates. She originally met our founder Carly Stockdale in an interview regarding her personal experience as a surrogate. They hit it off, and Carly especially appreciated what perspective Nicole brought to the table as a healthcare professional and surrogate alike. And so community engagement at Nascency began! During the day you can find Nicole working her longtime nursing assistant role at the hospital, or with her family, or on Facebook sharing more about her surrogacy experience with the broader community. Nicole lives in Indiana with her husband Dan and children.

Casey Oakley

Casey is a Surrogate Advocate at Nascency, helping surrogates learn more about surrogacy and Nascency's unique, supportive program. Casey comes to Nascency with a BS in criminology from Longwood University and having served the State of Virginia as a Special Agent. She found her way into third party reproduction as a case manager and through her experience as a two-time surrogate. She completed her paralegal certificate program through George Mason University in 2024 and supports intended parents in their legal journey to parenthood. Casey enjoys educating people about surrogacy and was featured in an Italian publication regarding her experience as a surrogate. In her free time, you can find Casey at the lake with her spouse and two boys or cuddled up reading a good book with her dogs.

Marisa Sigala

Marisa is a dedicated 4x surrogate who has proudly delivered 5 surrogate babies and is also a mother to 4 children of her own. With over 4 years of experience in the surrogacy field, she works closely with both intended parents and gestational carriers. Marisa is passionate about building meaningful connections and fostering trust throughout every stage of the journey. From the first match to post-birth care, Marisa has guided countless individuals and families through every step of the third-party reproduction process. Before beginning her career in surrogacy, Marisa spent 20 years as a surgical assistant in dentistry, where she earned a reputation for exceptional patient care and developed her natural ability to connect with people. Today, she serves as your dedicated guide from match to delivery and beyond. Drawing from both her professional experience and her personal journey as a mother and surrogate, she ensures that every path to parenthood is smoother, more supported, and deeply fulfilling.

Maria Maranan, RN

Maria Maranan is a dedicated Medical Records Retrieval Specialist with over eight years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and is skilled in obtaining medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and privacy laws.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, discovering new hobbies, traveling and unwinding with a good show. Maria values efficiency, integrity, and continuous learning, always looking for ways to improve both professionally and personally.

Jennifer Beezer, SPHR

Jennifer Beezer, SPHR, Founder & Principal Consultant for HIVE Consulting, LLC, is an HR executive and thought leader with 20 years of experience in complex SMBs across various industries and sectors. She assists founders and CEOs in transforming and optimizing their entire ecosystem through comprehensive diagnostics, infrastructure buildout, and people and talent strategies that accelerate business performance and growth.

Jennifer is passionate about driving better outcomes in business, with teams, and in her community, particularly in the longevity and healthcare space. She holds dual certifications in HR, is a former Forbes HR Council member, and has deep expertise in human capital strategy, driving HR transformations, scaling start-ups, and optimizing for operational excellence.

Adam Borelli, MBA

Adam Borelli is a parent of two, husband, and proud uncle to eleven nieces and nephews who is excited about Nascency's mission to create families. Adam is also a product leader with over ten years of experience, mostly at early stage companies. Adam has frequently been the first product leader at a startup and led product at early stage companies. Adam began his product career as an early product leader on Amazon Echo. Prior to his career in product, Adam founded and ran a nonprofit that is now in over fifty regions across the U.S. and worked at Google.org on cleantech investing, grant making, and program management. Adam received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and his BA from UC Berkeley.

Regina Rear-Connor

Regina Rear-Connor is a talent acquisition leader with proven expertise in building high performing teams, best-practice processes, while being a trusted business partner. The bulk of her career has been in healthcare technology. Nascency's mission aligns deeply with Regina's values of inclusivity, family, and compassion. Regina is inspired by Nascency's work to achieve ethical, accessible, and empowering surrogacy solutions. Stephanie Howard

Steph has over two decades of experience in customer success, operations, sales, leadership, and client relationship management, contributing to the success of companies across diverse industries. She has been working remote since 2017, successfully managing relationships with global clients at companies ranging from one person startups to Fortune 100 companies. Before going remote, she spent 17 years in hospitality in roles like Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales at top hotel brands. This experience helped shape her unique approach to communication centered around friendly interactions while understanding each everyone's unique circumstances and needs. Steph's career has been dedicated to creating positive outcomes through attentive service and genuine care for those she serves.

Ahsan Shahzad

Ahsan brings over a decade of experience in project management and more than five years in systems engineering and operations. He specializes in streamlining complex workflows and building scalable, automation-driven solutions that help teams move faster and smarter. Known for his strength in technical scoping, process design, and client collaboration, Ahsan is passionate about creating systems that not only work — but empower people to do their best work. He powers much of the “systems” approach behind Nascency’s surrogacy recruitment and journey success platform. Outside of work, Ahsan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Whether he’s building a new system or building a LEGO castle with his kids, he brings patience, creativity, and care to everything he does.
