A note from Dr. Aubrie

If you're new here, I spend my days helping families through sleep and the newborn stage, so I know how much a household carries. When Nascency showed me how they support surrogates at home, not just at appointments, I wanted to share it with you.

No pressure and no timeline. Just a door, if you are ever ready.

From when I first submitted my application, Renee and Carly have been so attentive answering all of my questions that I had, as well as providing different links and insight on what the surrogacy journey would look like. I was matched on our first try within a month of my application, they were able to find a really nice clinic within 15 minutes from my home and now I’m pregnant! I’m so excited to get the journey started thanks to Nascency. I also love how personal Nascency is compared to other agencies - they actually made me feel heard and cared for. In fact, Carly even went out of her way to send a welcome basket as well as come to meet me with the intended parents which really sealed everything for me. If you want a surrogacy agency that actually cares about their surrogates and won’t just treat you like a number, I definitely recommend Nascency.

Nascency has been there for me the whole way! I am going through nursing school and doing my first surrogacy journey, and every question I have and need gets responded super quickly. Jordan has been an incredible emotional support, and I was so appreciative to receive an unexpected warming blanket after my comfort blank broke down in middle of snowstorm midwest winter! I feel incredibly supported by the team - by text, which is super convenient - and am so appreciative to have a great match with my intended mom.

For my first journey, I worked with a large agency where I didn’t get to develop any special relationships. Meeting Nascency, I was interviewed about my previous experience with Carly for an hour before getting in touch for my next journey. She really took the time to get to know me and learn all about what made my previous experience great and not so great. Once I decided on my next journey, I was super excited to sign on with Nascency, and was incredibly happy to be matched with an intended family that is wonderful and a perfect match for me. I... was so touched when Carly took me out to dinner while [in California for my medical screening]... It feels so personal and so special to work with Nascency.

Questions you might be asking

Anything else? Once you meet the team, you can ask them anything.

Will I be related to the child?

As a gestational carrier, there is no biological connection to the child. The intended family creates the embryo, using either their own sperm and egg or opt for a donor sperm or egg. The process ensures that the surrogate is not biologically related to the child, providing clarity and distinction in the familial relationships during the journey.

Is surrogacy safe?

Surrogacy is a well-established process with robust safeguards in place to protect the health and well-being of both the surrogate and the intended parents. We prioritize your safety at Nascency. You'll undergo thorough medical screenings by qualified professionals to ensure you're a good candidate, and you'll have access to independent legal counsel to understand your rights and responsibilities. We also offer referrals to experienced mental health professionals for psychological support throughout your journey. Your health and safety are our top priorities.

Is Nascency real?

Yes. Nascency's office is in Encinitas, California. We're surrogate-owned, founded by a parent through surrogacy, and members of ASRM, RESOLVE and SEEDS. We're rated 5.0 on Google.
